Food Pantry

St. John the Baptist Food Pantry offers food to anyone in need on Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm (except holidays). Proof of Washtenaw County residency and a photo ID is required.

The food pantry is always in need of donations, which can be dropped off at St. John's during office hours, or over the weekend in the donation bins in the vestibule and gathering space of the church. All non-perishable gifts are welcome, but the items we need most are Hamburger Helper, Noodle dishes, cereal and toiletries. Please, no glass bottles, they create a hazard if they break.

It is now super easy to volunteer for whatever day and time you are available to help with our Food Pantry.  Simply sign up online to help with preparation from 1:30 - 3:00 pm and / or distribution from 6:15 - 7:30 pm.  Please click on the link below to volunteer.

Food Distribution Volunteers 6:15 - 7:30 pm

Currently, we are especially in need of volunteers for truck delivery time at 1:30pm every Thursday.  This would involve a commitment of 1 hour per week, but you can stay longer if you choose!  If you would like to help with the weekly truck, please email Sarah Scholl at [email protected].
