St. John Cemetery Policy

ST. JOHN CEMETERY POLICY

In order to respect the religious nature of St. John Cemetery, the following

policy has been enacted by the cemetery management

  

UPRIGHT MONUMENT SECTION:

Annual flowers planted in front of memorial and ground vases are permitted.

 

FLAT MARKER SECTION:

Natural flowers in ground vases or containers with handles for moving while mowing

 

All above ground containers must be approved by management.

 

Artificial flowers/grave blankets permitted from December 1st – March 31st

Updated Policy: $15.00 PLACEMENT AND REMOVAL fee required. Grave blankets will be removed by sexton after March 31st.

Tag can be purchased at St. John the Baptist parish office. Please note a grave blanket on site without a tag will be removed.

 

Lawn decorations, artificial edging, above ground vases, shepherd hoods, benches, tree chimes, figurines, trinkets, balloons, fencing, planting trees, shrubs or evergreens NOT PERMITTED.

 

Cemetery management reserves the right to remove inappropriate, unsightly or hazardous items without prior notice.
